The 12th edition of the European Economic Congress is 150 thematic sessions, over 1,000 speakers, 12.5 thousand guests, over 100 thousand unique users and 380 thousand congress views. The event took place in a hybrid formula - stationary and online. All debates were broadcast online. Panel entitled: INDUSTRY - Steel in Poland and Europe with the participation of the President of the Management Board of Koksownia Częstochowa Nowa Sp. z o. o. Marek Serafin was held on the second day.

During the panel "Steel Industry in Poland and Europe", topics such as the use of hydrogen in the steel industry, challenges related to carbon dioxide emissions, uncontrolled inflow of steel from Asia and the current situation of the industry resulting from the coronavirus pandemic were discussed.
