Koksownia Częstochowa Nowa Sp. z o. o. is one of the largest and most modern coking plants in Poland that meets all environmental standards defined in the best available practices for the sector (Best Available Techniques - BAT). The extensive investment programme implemented by Częstochowa Nowa Coking Plant significantly minimizes the impact of coke production on the natural environment. Minimizing the impact of the production process on the natural environment is one of our main goals and at the same time it is a tangible manifestation of compliance with the highest standards defining responsible business.

Częstochowa Nowa Coking Plant conducts its own research based on the works carried out by the research and development department, as well as the company participates in research and development programmes.

Company rescue group

The issues concerning life and health protection of our employees and residents of Częstochowa and the surrounding area are our priority. In order for the works at the plant to be carried out safe, the Company Rescue Group (ZGR) was established.

Increased Hazard Plant

Częstochowa Nowa Coking Plant was reported to the Provincial Inspector of Environmental Protection and the Municipal Commander of the State Fire Service in Częstochowa as a plant with a High Hazard Facility in terms of Increased Hazard Plant (IHP).
